This dress is all business in the front, nothing but a party in the back! Now if only I could pull off this look here, not really but really. The day before NYE 2013 I stumbled into Kyle by Alene Too while getting lost trying to find a Rite Aid as I was out of my favorite makeup remover wipes, 15 minutes before closing. After scouring the entire store for this dress I had seen on the mannequin I finally asked the associate if it was display only. Secretly cringing inside at what the price may be, seeing as how similar it looked to a Missoni. Emerging from the back just a few moments later, and 15 minutes after closing at this point, she handed me the dress on a hanger. I went into the dressing room and my jaw almost dropped when I saw that this amazing piece was nowhere near the price I thought it would be (and an additional 40% off the entire store). Using my grown-up christmas gift money (the fact that it was gifted money made me feel better about purchasing anything so close to the holidays) I happily paid at the register. So, to the associates at the boutique, this is my formal apology for coming in so late to close and being “that girl” but my thank you as well for how helpful, personable and accommodating you were, while not once trying to rush me out the door. Next time feel free to put me in my place and I will happily come back another time!
