Throughout my ridiculously busy schedule the past week and a half there is one thing that has not changed much, that is what I like to call my off duty uniform, when I don’t have to meet with clients but still have work to get done. In the midst of reading contracts and writing an extremely important policy our internet decided to go down on a massive several block scale. Time Warner’s response to this? An automated message stating they are not sure the time frame in which services would be back up and absolutely no way to speak to a live representative. Needless to say I spent the day working from a Starbucks who somehow managed to escape the rest of the office buildings doom, I am still not sure how they accomplished this feat. Time Warner: we are not friends, and to Starbucks: thank you for the free lattes!
I got these booties years ago and have worn them to death. So, to Joie, thank you for creating a pair of shoes that look better the more distressed and wear they get, yet are still as comfortable as the day I got them. This collar, which I receive a million questions on every time I wear it (not really, but really it feels like it) is actually the collar from the “transformer” jacket worn here.
