I remember when I got these heels in 2007. They were my birthday shoes, for some reason my 22 birthday was the one I thought would officially make me an “adult”. Here I am 6 years later, 28 now, and I still don’t feel like a full on grown up yet. Is that how it works? It just hits you? There is no real progress, you just wake up one day and say wow I am a full on adult now? If so, please tell me when this happens so I can be prepared. Bills… check. Career… check. Husband… check. Child… check. Old… half check, I feel even older when my daughters friends from school ask my age followed by a “Wow, if I use all my fingers and toes I still can’t count that high!”. I guess what I am trying to say is these shoes may have not “brought me into adulthood” but they have been around the block while enjoying countless birthdays and weddings. Here is to hoping I age as gracefully as these fringed beauties have!
I will be choosing the winner for the Amrita Singh giveaway today, so stay tuned.
