First things first, I can’t even tell ya’ll how many times I walked into a Sunglass Hut to try on THE mirrored Ray-Ban aviator. Each time walking out because my face just seemed to eat them alive (translation: they were way to small for my big ol’ head and my cheeks hit the rims). All while the sales associate telling me “how amazing” they looked. If there is one thing I can not stand, it is a sales associate who will say anything for the commission. I can tell when you are lying so just don’t do it. If you are honest I am 100 times more likely to come back to you for other purchases because I know I won’t walk out of there all confident while spectators are laughing in their heads. I am glad I was my normal over-analyzing self because no matter how much I liked the mirrored trend I could not stand the way they fit. Had I bought the $155 version I would have kicked myself once I saw this $10 version via Nordstrom (which, yes, I may have stalked the handsome Christian on instagram to find out where he got them).
Anyways, I digress, back to the true subject at hand… tweed, and take numero dos! I love the way a tweed jacket pairs with a full skirt and flats for a comfortable yet completely feminine look!
