Recently at the gym during cardio #SELFIE came on iTunes Radio. I loathe this song, truly, I mean I really can not stand it! I was past my skip limit for the day (I am not joking when I say iTunes was reeeeeally off that day) so had to power through the entire song. By the end I found myself in a full on sprint and burning more calories per minute than my usual hour cardio session. I think it was because subconsciously I thought if I ran fast enough maybe I could outrun the “lyrics” that girl is totally a fake model she must have bought all her instagram followers, i’ve only got 10 likes in the last five minutes should I take it down. Yes, I put lyrics in airquotes because at the risk of sounding too harsh I don’t consider them lyrics. Moral of the story? Maybe I (we;)) should make a horrible list of songs just for my cardio sessions because it was just the motivation I needed to make my workout even more beneficial.
Side note: LA needs to make it’s mind up about the weather already. 90 one day and 60 the next, my immune system is NOT a fan!
