If you couldn’t already tell this trench is my go-to for breezier summer days. I’ve never been a girl who’s embarrassed to reuse wardrobe pieces over and over (I have never understood buying any item, other than a formal dress, to only wear it once), hashtag: sorry not sorry. It’s the perfect layering piece for almost any outfit. Simple layering aside, I am fully aware I have been beyond lazy with my hair lately. My schedule hasn’t left much time for anything and the first to go is hair styling. As simple as it is to wear it down since I cut it off months back, it’s even simpler to put it up. I haven’t worn a french twist since, well let’s be honest here, since my freshman homecoming. Side note: my friend since birth made me fully aware she has flashback dance photos if I want to make a post. Hmmmm, let me think about that one… no thanks! Yet, for some reason I found myself oddly drawn to a bouffant style I came across on Instagram a few weeks back. The juxtaposition of “formal hair” and a pink lip with such a masculine, laid back, outfit just worked for`me.
