I can’t believe 2014 has come and gone! What is it that they say? An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in, a pessimist to make sure the old year leaves. While the year was filled with highs and lows, I will always be an optimist. I don’t think any year is 100% perfect and truly believe that you will never truly appreciate the good without a little bad. I mean after all we made the move back to Seattle where I was raised and welcomed my ever so handsome nephew into the world. Cara’s Cliche was featured on Stylelist’s 30 LA Bloggers You Need to Know About (while I still lived in LA of course) and I was finally able to perfect my moscow mule recipe. The most important part, for me at least, my husband and daughter were by my side through it all. I mean, how could the good not override the bad when you are surrounded by those you love?! I also want to say thank you to all of you for your emails, your comments, your support, and your love over the past year, it means so much to me and you helped make this last year great! I hope you all had an amazing New Year!
“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.”
