lights ritual. Shark tank, meat – cheese – and fruit plate… oh vino too of course, you can’t forget the vino! I often times feel a lot older than I am when friends message me to go out because give me a good book (or tv show – hello Shark Tank) some wine with a cheese spread, while wearing yoga pants obviously, and I am one happy camper. This has come to be our family’s Friday night ritual, while replacing the vino with apple juice for Emma of course, as we all now try to think of new business ideas that will be “the next big thing”. Barbara and Mark our idea is coming for you, Kevin I am sorry but we will not be agreeing to any of your royalty deals! Are ya’ll judging me yet?
I have always been someone to get excited over things for the home, especially unique finds for the kitchen! So I was thrilled to find a cute piece to make our Friday nights seem just a bit more fancy and not served off of a plastic cutting board. Andy, don’t worry I will never pay you back for getting so excited over a panini press delivery that you drop it on my feet while I am sleeping! This is where Uncommon Goods comes in. Not only do they operate on a Better to Give mentality where as an independently-owned business, they have the freedom to support causes that they believe in and impact the world in a positive way. Where they are proud to be a founding B Corp since the B seal means that we meet a rigorous standard on a wide range of issues, including wage levels, environmental impact, and giving back to our community. While being a company that I am happy to support ethically they also give you a say in what they may carry. A little bit about Uncommon Goods because I truly think that this company is pretty amazing!
